Welcome to Casa Vinea – your luxurious forest haven.
Ever since the 1960s, this forest house has been a family vineyard, wine cellar and holiday home with its own production of domestic wine. From 2020 to 2024, this luxury house has been completely renovated and is now ready to host up to 6 people (4 adults and 2 children) eager to relax in a beautiful forest environment. Despite the fact that the house is no longer used as a wine cellar and there are no more vineyards, in order to maintain the traditional, family spirit of vineyards and wine, we decided to name it “Casa Vinea”.
The holiday house Casa Vinea is located only 4.5 km from the center of town Karlovac and is secluded, right next to a beautiful chestnut and pine forest. During their stay, the guests have access to a jacuzzi with an outdoor solar shower and a pavilion with outdoor seating that looks over a beautiful view of the forest and the Vinica mountain. The stay also includes the use of a brick grill and rotisserie, with utensils for BBQ, and a handmade dining table with benches made of solid wood. The grill and outdoor dining area is covered. There is also a covered, private, free parking lot for your vehicle on the property.
The house itself in its spacious 120 square meters has two floors that are fully equipped for a luxurious vacation;
On the ground floor of the house there is a new, fully equipped kitchen with a pantry, a spacious dining room with a fireplace and a toilet. On the first floor, there is a large living room with a luxurious sofa bed and a TV, as well as a work area with a desk and a chair. On the opposite side of the floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and a balcony with an enchanting view of the aforementioned mountain Vinica, and above the bedroom there is a gallery with a sleeping mattress, which is an especially fun experience for children Between the living room and the bedroom there is a bathroom with a shower cabin.
In the kitchen there is a cooking hob, an oven, a sink, a washing machine, a kettle, a coffee maker and all the dishes and utensils needed for cooking and baking, including tea towels. The dining room is equipped with a table and chairs for 8 people and all utensils – cutlery, plates, glasses and wine glasses.
The bedroom has a luxurious double bed for two, on the gallery there is a mattress suitable for two children, and the living room is equipped with a corner sofa that can be folded out into a comfortable bed for two. All beds have bed linen. There is a wardrobe in the bedroom and a dresser in the living room for storing clothes, and the bathroom is fully equipped with towels and hygiene products.
The house is equipped with an air conditioner that has the option of cooling and heating the space. There are radiators in the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, and an additional source of heat is the furnace located in the dining room on the ground floor. During your stay, you can connect to the WiFi network.
For all guests who enjoy adrenaline activities and are eager for an active holiday, the geographical location of Casa Vinea also offers activities such as hiking, mountain climbing, cycling and motocross, as well as swimming, diving, fishing, canoeing and rafting since it is located near the river Mrežnica (5 min by car) where there are many river beaches and waterfalls.
There are grocery stores, restaurants, a train station and a general hospital within 15 minutes of the accommodation. The river beach “Kamp Slapić” is in close proximity (10 km), and the Plitvice Lakes National Park is 75 km away. The nearest airport is “Franjo Tuđman”, Airport in Zagreb (70 km).
Casa Vinea is ideal for a relaxing vacation in complete privacy away from the hustle and bustle of the city or for a recreational vacation filled with activities. It is also an excellent choice for luxurious parties and celebrations such as small weddings, bachelorette parties, birthdays, and an enchanting place for professional photography or filming.
